Bring the distinctive unit insignia of 1st Battalion, 87th Infantry Regiment into your office, team room, home, or display space with a full-color 3D printed piece built by Three Delta Actual. The raised construction gives the DUI real depth and dimension rather than the flat appearance of a traditional print or plaque.
Unit History
The 87th Infantry traces its mountain warfare roots to World War II. The 1st Battalion, 87th Mountain Infantry was activated at Fort Lewis, Washington, on November 15, 1941, as the Army developed specialized mountain and winter warfare forces. The 87th helped form the foundation of what became the 10th Mountain Division, trained in mountain operations, and served during World War II. In the modern era, 1-87 IN has continued serving with the 10th Mountain Division, including combat operations in Afghanistan and participation in Operation Anaconda in 2002.
Construction & Materials
Each display is 3D printed from durable thermoplastic filament using multiple colors to reproduce the DUI as a dimensional display piece. Raised borders, lettering, symbols, and layered details create depth across the face of the design. Each piece is made to order and includes a display stand.
Sizes
-
Small — $25: Compact size for desks, shelves, and smaller display areas.
-
Medium — $50: Larger display size with increased visual presence and detail.
