2nd Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment

2nd Battalion, 22nd Infantry Regiment — a maneuver battalion of the 1st Brigade Combat Team, 10th Mountain Division.

The battalion carries the long heritage of the 22nd Infantry Regiment, including combat service from the regiment’s early frontier years through World War II and later overseas operations. Known as ‘Triple Deuce,’ 2-22 IN has served with the 10th Mountain Division in modern deployments and remains one of the Warrior Brigade’s maneuver battalions.
